Living Well

Go on a journey of self-discovery. You’ll come to know and love yourself, the Lord, and others better.

The Christian faith is supposed to produce deep, positive change in a person’s life, so why doesn’t it always work that way? There’s a critical link between our spiritual and emotional health. If it remains undiscovered (and unhealthy), the result will affect our spirituality and, ultimately, how we love others. Living Well is a journey of self-discovery. You’ll come to know and love yourself, the Lord, and others better. This course uses the book Emotionally Healthy Spirituality and other support materials by Peter Scazzero.

Next Class Coming Fall 2017

Living Well is part of our life classes series recommended by Pastor Bob. Registration for our September class will begin later this year.

What are Life Classes?

We believe that authentic spirituality involves going deeper in our emotional health and in our relationships with others. To help you do this, we offer three life classes here at Oak Pointe: Loving Well, Living Well, and Listening Well. Each class teaches you to look beneath the surface and explore things that might be blocking you from creating and maintaining healthy relationships with God and others. Life classes prioritize interaction with others so our church body and our life groups can go deeper, care well for one another, and relate to each other like Jesus did. We offer each class at different times throughout the year. Take them in any order you’d like, but be sure to take all three!
