Connect OPC.
Sunday, February 12th, between services in Room 138
New to Oak Pointe? Here's a place to start! We'd like to invite you to Connect OPC. It's an informal gathering we have once
a month that will help you "connect the dots" here at Oak Pointe. Connect OPC is designed to give you a brief overview of
the church and provide you with resources you need to discover which next steps are right for you. You'll meet some of our
staff, as well as others who are new to Oak Pointe too. No need to make a reservation; you can simply show up! Your kids
are welcome too. We'd love to meet them! We meet in
Room 138, located on the lower level, at the west end of the building. Our Welcome Center hosts will be glad to direct you.

Discover OPC.
Monday, March 12th, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in Room 138
Interested in learning more about our church? Attend Discover OPC, and find out all about our vision, beliefs & background.
The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and the class will include a Q&A with our senior pastor, Bob Shirock. This class is
open to anyone and is required for membership.

Monday, February 13th, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in Room 138
Interested in membership? Come to Join OPC. This class digs deeper into foundational Christian principles and provides the necessary
information for those seeking membership.
It also includes a Q&A with our Life Groups pastor, Greg Moore. There is a membership self-study workbook that
accompanies this class.
FirstGroup.

FirstGroup is a fun event where you'll connect with a group to try on a short-term basis. We'll guide you through the
process of meeting and connecting, then you'll decide together when and where your new group will meet--all in less than
two hours! Our goal is to help you get to know people in your area and stage of life so you can develop true friendships as you dig
deeper into God's Word. At the FirstGroup event, a free light lunch will be provided from 12:30-1:00 p.m., and free
childcare is available from 1:00-2:30 p.m. for children 12 and under (children must be registered in advance).
ReNew Life Groups & Classes.
Mondays, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Groups are underway but it's not too late to register... but don't delay! Choose from DivorceCare, GriefShare, Growing Seasons (ages 4-6th
grade), Life Disrupted, Restarting (adults and teens), Her Story--Partner Care, Men's Integrity, CrossCurrent, Setting
Boundaries with Adult Children, Single and Single Again, Knitted Together (adoption/foster care), and Caretakers

Lifepath Classes.
Winter classes going on now
At Oak Pointe, we care a lot about your path of spiritual growth, from start to finish. No matter where you are in
your spiritual journey, there is room here for you to learn, grow, be challenged, and expand your knowledge and
experience of Christ. That's why we created Lifepath—a series of classes we offer a couple of times a year. We're
getting ready to start them again, so check out the class descriptions and register today.
