Blood Drive.
Friday, September 3rd, 1:00-7:00 p.m. in Rm. 135 (Cosmic Blast)
The American Red Cross Southeastern Michigan Blood Services Region issued an urgent call for blood donors on August 17th.
There is a short supply, and in Southeastern Michigan alone, 900 donors are needed each day. You can help meet the need
by giving blood on September 3rd. Donated blood is used for the treatment of cancer patients, people with blood disorders,
premature babies, transplant recipients, trauma victims and more. Each whole blood donation can help save up to three lives!

Be Part of a Bigger Story!
It happens fast - kids grow up in the blink of an eye. Adventureland’s mission is to teach kids about the life-changing
love of Jesus while they’re young, and we need your help to make that happen. See the kiosk to learn about the
many opportunities we have for you to serve with us. We’re getting ready for our kick-off/training event, so come
and get all you need to be part of a bigger story in helping kids know Jesus! Join us for fun games, cool prizes and all
the tools you need to help give kids what they need now & later. Pick one of the dates below and RSVP to Monika @

Father/Daughter Square Dance.
Saturday, September 25th, 5:30-9:00 p.m. at Three Cedars Farm (6 Mile Rd, just East of Angle Rd.)
Fathers and their daughters are invited to a memorable night of fall fun! Square dance with your daughter and hear a short
message of encouragement. Eat dinner before you come, but leave room for cider and donuts! The square dance is geared toward
ages 5 and older, but younger daughters are welcome, too. Cost: $10/person, $30 maximum per family. Scholarships available.
There will be an optional hayride and corn maze from 4:00-5:30 p.m. for anyone interested.
Edge Venture Men's Experiential Weekend.
October 8th-10th in Brighton
All men are invited to be part of the next Edge Venture Experiential Weekend! Through biblical principles and experiential means
of action and communication, you’ll look at the things that are preventing you from fully living from the heart Jesus gave you. Edge
