Meet Some of Our South Community Life Groups.
The Duquesnel's Life Group
This group served with CDC's Breakthrough Tutoring last October. That was also Ed & Melanie Duquesnel's
25th anniversary, so they celebrated with a candlelight dinner of hot dogs, salad, brownies and grape pop.
The Carlsons' Life Group
The Carlsons have started a recovery group for those affected by addiction and their family members.
Based on the 12- Step program, this is a Bible-based, Christ-centered group that walks with people in their recovery process.
They meet weekly on Monday nights.
The Doolittle's Life Group
This group birthed from the Daniels' group in late winter. They completed a parenting study and are now
connecting over the discussion of kids and adolescents in the home. They meet on Saturday nights at 7:00 in Northville.
The River's Life Group
This group meets every other Friday night in Novi. Outnumbered by kids, they have two babysitters that watch
the children while the adults enjoy time to study the book of James and to deepen their friendships.
The Allwine's Life Group
This group meets every other Sunday in Northville. They're empty nesters who are retired or close to retirement.
Grandparents should bring lots of pictures of the grandkids to share! They won't meet regularly this summer, but plan to do an outing and an outreach project.
