How to Become a Life Group Leader.
Are you considering becoming the leader of a new life group? Here are the steps you need to take:
- 1. Currently be an active participant in an OPC life group.
- 2. Let your current leader know about your interest in facilitating a group. You may be able to apprentice for a while.
- 3. Read, sign and bring the Life
Group Leader Principles document to the life groups kiosk on Saturday evening or Sunday morning.
- 4. Complete the Life Group Application,
and email it to Gail Paulus at gail@oakpointe.org.
- 5. Complete the Leadership Essentials Class. Register online
for the next class.
- 6. "Birth" out from your current group, or start a brand new one.
If you'd like to talk to someone about your interest in becoming a leader, or if you have additional questions,
feel free to contact Gail Paulus, our life groups assistant, at gail@oakpointe.org or 248.912.0043 x327.

Ordering Your Books, Workbooks and More...
Leaders are expected to acquire workbooks for their group. Most material can be purchased through Lifeway.com,
Amazon.com or Christianbook.com. Because OPC is an affiliate of Amazon.com and Christian Book Distributors, you can use
the links on our website to purchase your group or personal materials, and you'll be helping us add to our life group library in the process!
