Life Groups for Women.

On-Site Life Groups.

Starting January 10th (7-9 pm) and January 11th (9:30 - 11:30 am)
We welcome all women to experience studying God's word together in community. This fall we are offering three on-site studies: Gracestoration, Beth Moore's new study on the book of James (Mercy Triumphs) and a specialty life group for moms with young children (birth through grade 5) who will be studying Mom-to-Mom Inside Out Parenting. Childcare is available on-site for a nominal fee. For your consideration, you may also want to check out the off-site groups which have a larger selection of studies, locations and times.

Off-site Life Groups.

Neighborhood life groups for women are continuously being updated. Please review the list of groups and contact the group leader directly if you are interested.

Taste of Grace.

Do you want to share God's Grace with family, friends, neighbors and co-workers in a comfortable and conversational way as a way to begin and strengthen meaningful relationships with other women? We have adapted a life-changing study that women at Oak Pointe have enjoyed for years called Gracestoration (24 sessions) into what we now call Taste of Grace (5 sessions). The heart of the message remains the same - to encourage women to grow personally in their understanding of God and His Grace and how God can be a part of their every day life. Discover now how you can learn to share God's Grace with others!

You need it? We have it! Resources.

We have an extensive resource library for your consideration as you determine what women life group study you might want to do out of your home or in your neighborhood. It's not too early to think about reserving for fall! We have many DVD-driven studies (Beth Moore & Priscilla Shirer) along with other book recommendations. Current and past women leaders are approved for material check out. If you are new to leading a life group, please contact debbie@oakpointe.org for more details.

MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers)

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, but it's actually for any mom with little ones at home (birth-kindergarten). This includes adoptive moms, foster moms, pregnant moms, single moms, married moms, working moms, stay-at-home moms—every kind of mom there is! The great thing about MOPS is that it gives you time with other women who are in the same life situation as you. You'll build friendships as you receive support and encouragement for the journey. You don't need to attend or be a member of Oak Pointe to be part of our MOPS group. Find out more....

Moms in Touch.

Thursdays, 9:30-10:130 a.m.
Do you worry about your children? Replace your anxiety and fear with peace and hope by praying with other moms. Moms In Touch International gathers moms together to pray specifically and scripturally for their children and their schools. Won't you join us in prayer for this next generation? The environment is casual and there is no pressure to pray aloud. For more information, contact Sheila Jenkinson (248.344.9369 or sheilajenkinson@sbcglobal.net) or check out the MITI website at www.momsintouch.org.
