JAMES: Mercy Triumphs (Beth Moore)
All James Groups are currently full. Please email women@oakpointe.org and we will help place you in a women's life group. You may also consider the many off-site groups.
Join us as we begin a new Beth Moore study on the book of James. James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. Materials: $15. 8 sessions.

At OPC:
Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.
Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m.

Mom-to-Mom Inside Out Parenting (Linda Anderson)

Topics include: The Perils of Perfectionism: What Voices Shape Us?; Two Mary's, One Martha, and Me; When You and He Disagree Modeling and Nurturing a Healthy Marriage; Mean Girls, Bullies, and Bad Guys; Raising Daniels: Integrity, Honesty, and Self-Discipline.
