We want every believer to "Go!" and minister to those outside and inside the church. Our ministries here at OPC are dependent on folks like you who are using God-given talents to serve Him.

Each of the eight areas on this page offer volunteer opportunities - many which can be your "first serve" (places where you can try out serving without making a commitment right away).

• Click a box to see the opportunities in that area.
• If you would like more information about a particular ministry, select the "Try This!" button. You will open a form page from which you can select one or two ministries that you have some interest in and would like more information about. Don't worry, it doesn't commit you to serving in any ministry area!
• You will be contacted by someone to discuss the options in more detail and next steps. If the selected ministry isn't the best fit for you, you can try a different area until you're in just the right spot.

1. Guest Services
   Our Guest Services team needs lots of help, including Parking, Indoor Greeters and Security. Be part of a great team that creates a warm and welcoming place for our guests! Let Dawn (dawn@oakpointe.org) know if you can help.
2. Tech Team
   Join the Tech Team and serve just one weekend a month! No experience necessary. We'll train you! You can be a camera operator, computer operator, lighting operator, or stage hand. Be part of a fun team that's responsible for helping people worship and experience God! Contact Bethany at bethany@oakpointe.org or 248.912.0043 for more info.
3. Adventureland Urgent Volunteer Needs
   Happy New Year to all! Adventureland has had an awesome year so far, but we're still in need of volunteers who have a heart for reaching kids. Spots needed to be filled include Nursery Caregivers, Tech Volunteers and Small Group Leaders. Contact Val at 248.912.0043 or val@oakpointe.org if you'd like to help out or need more info.
4. International Friends
   We're still looking for conversation partners (English speaking and bilingual)! Contact Jill Metz (jill@oakpointe.org) if you'd like to meet people from other countries and help them learn English.
5. Help a Child Get to Church
   There are many children who would really love to come to Adventureland on the weekend, but they can only attend if they can get a ride. We do have a van that we can use to pick them up, but we need drivers! We also need people who would be willing to pick up a child or two in their own vehicle. These kids face many challenges in their lives, and this is a critical time to reach them with the love of Jesus! For more info contact Val at val@oakpointe.org or 248.912.0043.
6. Minister to International Kids
   On Saturdays in Adventureland we minister to international kids from the community whose parents attend our Saturday ESL classes. These kids love to learn about Jesus, and enjoy making new friendships with other kids and adults. Parents see the love of Jesus through the care their kids receive! We have a great need for volunteers willing to help in the nursery, preschool or elementary grades during the classes (5:15 p.m.). If you can help, please email val@oakpointe.org.
7. Adventureland Special Needs Ministry
   Do you have a heart for children with special needs? We're looking for caring people to help with this very important ministry to kids and their families. Some of the current needs for volunteering include assessing children, providing oversight and/or working with the children. For more info, contact Grace at grace@oakpointe.org.
8. Women's Prison Ministry
   Reaching out with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to a forgotten society, the Women's Prison Ministry has been instrumental in leading many young female inmates to Christ at the Huron Valley Women's Complex. If you're interested in being part of the prison ministry, and you have a relationship with Jesus, email Artice Ann at womensprisonministry@oakpointe.org.
9. Men's Prison Ministry
   Weekly and biweekly prison visits. Contact Brian at mensprisonministry@oakpointe.org.
