Psalm 150

Spend time in prayer and silence with God asking Him to meet with you and speak to you.

Bible Reading

Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power;
    praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
    praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with timbrel and dancing,
    praise him with the strings and pipe,
praise him with the clash of cymbals,
    praise him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.

– Psalm 150

Devotion

I was at the Tiger’s game last week and saw a grand slam home run. I was so excited! The people in the stadium went crazy! Have you ever watched people who are excited? There is an eruption of joy as they clap their hands, jump up and down, shout random praises, and can’t stop smiling. God desires His people to be people of joy! An attitude of joy is one of the best indicators of the Holy Spirit’s work in someone’s life. We were created to praise God!
