At Oak Pointe we believe that prayer is vital to our ministry and our lives. Commitment to prayer is marked each year by our celebration of Ezra 8—a day set aside each winter right around the birthday of our church where we gather to worship and pray for God’s protection and guidance. This is an event for everyone who calls Oak Pointe home. The miraculous and amazing things God has done in the life of our church over the last 27 years are directly connected to this commitment to pray. Let’s depend on Him for 2024.

Fasting before, pizza after
Many in our congregation will fast in preparation for our time of prayer at Ezra 8. We invite you to join us! If you’d like more guidance on fasting, check out our Ezra 8 page. We will wrap up Ezra 8 by breaking our fast with a pizza party in the atrium!

Ezra 8 is for all ages, so bring your kids, too. We want them to grasp the significance of God’s work in our lives.
