Facilities Team Positions
The facilities department of Oak Pointe has several part-time positions available. This involves cleaning, setting up for events, and performing light maintenance. Cody Partnership Interns
As an intern with Oak Pointe’s Cody Partnership you’ll lead and supervise Cody high school students in a summer jobs program. This is a great opportunity to develop a program (plan and carry out daily activities) and to explore urban ministry. Training will be provided. This is a full-time paid position from mid-June through midAugust (no weekends), with the possibility of adding hours before and after this timeframe. Adventureland Staff Openings (Part-time)
Working in Adventureland is family friendly and flexible. Whether you’re at home with kids or only available evenings, if you have the skills and passion for kids’ ministry, being on our team could work for you. We even
offer free childcare onsite during most office hours. Computer skills and the ability to encourage, train, and work alongside volunteers is required. We also provide training for those who have the skills but not the experience. Contact Val at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Preschool Coordinator
Use your passion for reaching preschool kids and families on Sundays in Adventureland! Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers, connecting with families, and creating a fun, engaging, safe environment for preschoolers! An education background and experience working with preschoolers and curriculum is preferred
- Elementary Small Group Coordinators: Lead and support volunteers to effectively engage kids in their small groups. Help select activities that are fun and engaging for kids. Empower parents to help their kids grow in their faith.
- Elementary Large Group Programmers: Oversee creative presentations of Bible stories (curriculum provided) to kids, lead an energetic student praise and worship team, and coordinate a team to run the tech program, lighting and sound.
- Interns: For those passionate about kid’s ministry who have the maturity, skills, gifting, availability and willingness to work hard and learn to develop as leaders in various areas of kids’ ministry. Previous experience effectively working/volunteering with kids is a must.
Caregivers for Babies & Children
If you have a heart for babies and children, we would love to talk with you about our childcare positions. We’re looking for loving people to care for our children during life groups and classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays. This is a great opportunity for high school and college students, as well as adults. Substitute positions are available.
