Devotion

In chapters 8-10, we see several lessons about ministry. We are to dedicate ourselves to God and He consecrates us for his service. He wants servants who are clean, yielded, obedient and consecrated by blood and oil.

We minister to the Lord and for His glory. No matter how much we sacrifice and serve, if God doesn’t get the glory there can be no blessing. Our greatest joy in life should be to serve the Lord and bring glory to Him.

With such blessing comes much responsibility. As Jesus said in Luke 12:48; “When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.

The Big Question

How are you bringing glory to the Lord with your life?

Conclude in prayer and silence reflecting on what you’ve learned.
